Quintrex has rolled out a number of cosmetic and engineering changes across its Fishabout, Top Ender, Cruiseabout, Ocean Spirit and Hornet models as it gives the range a big update aimed at enriching the ownership experience.
The changes usher in significantly refreshed models to each of the model lines, with changes ranging from adding extra Maxi-bracket mounts on the transom to re-engineering cabins to yield more space.

The change also introduces a number of packages that take much of the guesswork for buyers around how to fit out a boat – the Comfort Bundle, Fishing Bundle and Captain’s Bundle. Meanwhile, the pro range expands from the Fishabout Pro to now include the Cruiseabout Pro, Top Ender Pro, Ocean Spirit Pro and Hornet Pro, all of which feature premium extras.
Many of the tweaks made to the models are in response to customer feedback on how the boats could be improved.
Other structural changes include:
Telwater BRP general manager Sam Heyes said Quintrex was a brand to be watched “as this is just the beginning of what’s to come”
“We are gearing up for an incredibly bright future ahead in partnership with our owner company BRP; a global leader in the world of power sports,” Heyes said.
“We are excited about what’s to come and can’t wait to continue building the future of boating with the world, from right here in Australia.”
Heyes said the new lineup would encourage people new to boating to buy a Quintrex while “continuing to deliver an unparalleled aluminium boating experience” for anyone sticking with the brand.
“Boating is booming now more than ever which lends itself to a heightened number of new entrants stepping into the industry.
"However, we find that industry-wide the buying process can sometimes be overwhelming when knowing how to build the perfect boat for your lifestyle, especially for those who are shopping online,” Heyes said.
“Therefore, we hope that through this approach, shopping online will be less intimidating by selecting a bundle that meets our consumers’ particular wants and needs, whether that’s a boat built for fishing, family comfort or the captain’s driving experience.”
The range of boats also adopts a unified look, with just one graphics package offered across the range that will show other boaters from afar that yep, you’ve bought a Quintex.
“Aimed towards streamlining brand image and representing a consistent look across its boats, the number of stripe designs will reduce from the five current patterns to one stripe, Quintrex said.
“With the entire range set to don the fresh attire, the Quintrex brand will be easily recognised from near and far.”
