Quintrex announces Dealer of the Year
Hunt's Marine NSW takes the top accoladeHunts Marine Sydney, an original Quintrex dealership, has been awarded Quintrex’s top honour as the National Dealer of the Year.
The third-generation family business run by current Dealer Principal Jon Hunt, offers customers great knowledge of the marine industry with nearly 70 years of experience.
A long term partner of Quintrex and well known in the Sydney area, Hunts Marine stocks a variety of boating accessories, Evinrude and Suzuki outboards and are complete with full service centre.
In the past few years Hunts Marine has expanded its presence in the marine industry opening dealerships in Batemans Bay and Wollongong, stocking Quintrex boats in all locations.
With a true passion for boating Hunts Marine has been involved with the BoatSmart Programme for the past four years, loaning a 470 Escape to a local school. The programme, now run with the BIA of NSW, has expanded with five boats at different hubs around the state.
Dealer Principal Jon Hunt said he thought it was extremely important to be involved with local schools, sporting clubs or local events given the opportunity, simply to help get the next generation excited about boating.
"I am really pleased for all of my team to get this award. We worked really hard, not only in sales with some significant brand changes, but also in service, accessories, parts and admin to improve our systems and processes and it is pleasing to see it starting to pay off," Jon said.
Quintrex National Account Manager Cameron Wood said it was always a pleasure working with the team from Hunts Marine and that they truly had excelled in all areas of the criteria, with a special mention to the long standing and hardworking sales team.
"Hunt’s is one of our leading dealerships and has a very professional approach to the business, excelling especially with their customer service- we never hear a bad word about them, their customers are always full of praise for the staff and the dealership," Cameron added.
Also announced at the awards night was the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) award which was taken out by Melbourne dealer Streaker Boats.
Streaker achieved an impressive 91 per cent customer satisfaction rating, higher than any other dealer in Australia.
