Queensland Flood Relief Appeal

Carsales will donate a portion of every private ad placed this month towards the appeal, launched to help those affected by the devastating floods.

Carsales.com Ltd, the parent company of Boatpoint.com.au and Boatsales.com.au, has announced it will donate $1.00 from every private classified car advertisement placed this month, with proceeds to go towards the official Flood Relief Appeal.

The magnitude of the devastation is almost incomprehensible, with Toowoomba the latest city to feel the full brunt of the floods. And now Brisbane is also on high alert as the torrent of water heads east, with a number of businesses and government departments already closed.

Once the flood waters subside, estimates have the damage bill in excess of $5 billion.

And the human toll is also horrific, with a growing number of people confirmed dead and scores more still missing.
