The OS 325 is the smallest of Pursuit’s hardtop cabin models, but it gives nothing away to its larger siblings with regard to quality of finish, features and fit-out. Rigged with dual Yamaha 350hp V6 outboards the OS 325 is a fast, versatile vessel.
The Florida-built Pursuit OS 325 is a stylish, four berth bridge-deck cruiser designed to balance family boating with serious offshore fishing.
Like the larger Pursuit OS355, OS 405, and OS 455, the entry-level OS 325 model is a premium fibreglass cruiser with refined handling and excellent performance.
The OS 325 is powered exclusively by Yamaha outboards, with customers able to choose between twin 300hp V6 Yamaha outboards or a pair of the more powerful Yamaha 350hp motors.
Our test boat for this review came with the big power option, twin Yamaha 350hp 4.3L V6 four-stroke outboards in Yamaha’s optional Pearlescent white colour.

The Pursuit OS 325 is available from dealer Lifetime Boats on the Gold Coast. Packages start at $1,110,783 when the boat is paired with dual Yamaha 300hp extra-longshaft V6 outboards.
This million-dollar-plus price tag may seem steep, but Pursuit includes a more comprehensive list of standard features than most competing brands.
The “base” model OS 325 for example comes with Yamaha’s digital electric steering and controls as well as the Helm Master EX boat control system – albeit without the joystick control.
The OS 325 also comes with a bow thruster, Lenco auto trim tabs, twin Garmin GPSMap 8616 built-in displays, JL audio system, cabin and cockpit galley/entertainment centres, four permanent berths, a standing-room head compartment/shower, as well as an abundance of lounge seating, storage space and cockpit fishing features.
Our test boat was rigged with the more powerful twin Yamaha 350hp outboards along with additional features which lift the package price to $1,363,916.

Options on our test boat included:
The Pursuit OS 325 is a bridge-deck cabin cruiser with an elevated, full-shelter open plan helm station, spacious four berth front cabin, and a large aft fishing cockpit.
From the heightened helm station, the skipper has commanding views through the one-piece tempered glass windshield and equally robust surrounding side windows.
Overhead, the heavily built fibreglass hardtop provides excellent protection for the saloon and helm area, while also serving as a mounting platform for lighting, stereo speakers, handrails, outriggers, and an optional radar dome.
An electrically operated centre windscreen vent window opens to breathe air into the saloon, whilst two overhead hatches provide light and extra airflow.

Fronting the skipper’s swivelling, sliding and bolstered captain’s chair is a blacked-out helm module, featuring a wide dash with rocker switch panel, a tilt-adjustable Edson stainless steel steering wheel, and a side-mounted Yamaha binnacle throttle with Helm Master joystick control. A two-tier footrest sits neatly below.
Whether seated or standing, the skipper’s focus naturally falls on the twin Garmin multi-function displays, which dominate the broad fascia panel.
Additional features include a glare-reducing vinyl brow above the displays, along with a compass, dual windscreen wipers, wireless phone charger, and radio head units.
Opposite the helm, an elevated L-shaped lounge provides a comfortable dining area, trimmed in quality diamond-stitched vinyl and set above generous moulded storage lockers.
Aft of the portside lounge is a well-appointed entertainment centre, complete with an electric grill, sink with hot and cold mixer, cutting board, rubbish bin, and dedicated tackle drawers.
This is complemented by a starboard-side galley/food preparation area with a Corian countertop and pull-out fridge-freezer positioned just forward of an aft-facing jump seat.

Descending three solid timber steps down into the forward cabin reveals another galley/entertainment centre to port, complete with a pull-out style drawer fridge beneath an expandable Corian countertop and included microwave oven.
There’s also ample timber laminated cupboard storage and pantry space.
Opening port-hole windows surround the cabin, which has varnished timber accents to contrast the bright white moulded fibreglass finish to the ceiling and surrounds.
Opposite the galley centre, behind a timber-lined door is a full-height head compartment with electric toilet, grab rail/towel rack, door mirror, pull-out shower wand, shower curtain, and a wash basin/vanity with mixer tap above a storage cupboard.

Taking pride of place in the cabin forepeak is a V-shaped dinette seating area with a height-adjustable, power operated varnished teak table which lowers to reconfigure into a large island queen berth.
With the table lowered, it takes just moments to slide the two side benches together on tracks to form the queen berth with storage space underneath.
The second double cabin berth is situated aft, beneath the bridge-deck and behind the cabin entry steps. Headroom is limited, but the berth is large and accessible.
Elsewhere in the cabin there is a flat panel TV, electric switch panel, shaded hull-side windows, and a ceiling ventilation hatch.

The spacious aft cockpit is equally well suited to serious sport fishing and relaxed entertaining.
For socialising, double-wide bench seats fold out from the transom and starboard side, positioned conveniently around a pedestal table that mounts in the centre of the cockpit.
Stow the seating and table away, and the area transforms into a clean, uncluttered fishing deck, offering plenty of room to move.
Fishing features include two sub-floor insulated fish boxes (with macerator and overboard drains), multiple in-deck rod holders, a 121L port-side transom plumbed livewell, fresh and raw water washdown and shower, hardtop frame rod racks, vertical transom rod rack, and the aforementioned cockpit entertainment centre which doubles as a tackle and bait prep station.
Other features include a starboard side transom door and boarding ladder, port-side dive/entry door, transom storage/ice box, and a large sub-floor mechanical/storage room.
For lounging and sunbathing, there’s also a two-person sunpad up on the bow.

Paired with dual Yamaha 350hp four-stroke outboards, the Pursuit OS 325 is a fast and capable sports cruiser.
Its wide 3.3m beam delivers impressive stability at rest and reassuring composure when running hard across the bay. Flat out, it reaches a ballistic 45.7 knots (84.5 km/h) at 5,800 rpm.
Offshore, the Pursuit settles into a comfortable 25-30 knot cruise, handling short chop and rolling swells with ease. The solid, rattle-free deep-V hull carries a 20-degree deadrise, striking an effective balance between ride comfort, stability and high-speed handling.
The hull is quick onto the plane and responds cleanly to throttle and steering inputs, making it easy and enjoyable to drive.
In rough offshore conditions it can throw some spray about, but it maintains a smooth, secure ride to give the skipper plenty of confidence behind the fully enclosed helm.
At 10.5m overall, the OS 325 feels larger than its length suggests – solid and composed like a true cruiser, yet still agile and responsive when needed.
