Prestige, the luxury motor yacht maker owned by French brand Jeanneau, has revealed the first product to spring from its new X-Line, showing a boat it says will capture the spirit of a superyacht but in a much smaller form.
Prestige’s first X-Line product, the Prestige X70, will launch in August and feature a flybridge that runs the full beam of the boat – at the cost of sidedecks.

“Created in the spirit of superyachts, the X70 offers infinite possibilities, blurring the line between the exterior and the interior,” Prestige said in a statement following the new motor yacht’s reveal at 2020 Boot Dusseldorf, Germany’s biggest boat show.
“Based on volume, circulation and light, the all-new concept for this luxury crossover enables you to benefit from the full beam of the yacht, reinventing space on board for an incredible experience.”
Access to the foredeck is via either the flybridge, or a pilot door leading into the saloon.
Prestige said the full-beam layout maximised the amount of exterior and interior living space available.
“The saloon occupies the entire beam of the yacht,” it said. “The extra-wide cockpit, increased to 50 per cent, opens onto the exterior without any physical separation from the interior.”
The flybridge features four separate sets of stairs leading down to the living spaces.
The main deck, meanwhile, is divided into four distinct spaces: a helm station with “incomparable visibility”; a central galley; a cockpit “enlarged by 300 per cent”; and a beach club including a large bathing platform.
The Prestige X70’s full-beam master suite is accessed via a dedicated stairway, while the guest and VIP cabins have private entrances.
There’s an emphasis on the finer things in life, with Foglizzo coverings and made-to-measure Duvivier sofas, prestige woodwork and a Bowers & Wilkins audio system.
Powering it all is a choice of either Volvo Penta IPS 1200 or IPS 1350 drivetrains offering “increased reliability, lower maintenance costs and an optimal performance”.
“With the X70, Prestige chooses innovation and development to offer luxurious comfort and well-being at sea and to inaugurate an entirely new experience of life on the water.”
The X70 joins other Prestige models including the Flybridge and S-Line.
