Prestige Yachts has appointed MW Marine as its exclusive dealer in Australia, marking a significant shift in the brand’s distribution strategy in the local market ahead of the 2026 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
Under the new arrangement, MW Marine will represent Prestige across Australia, including at the upcoming Sanctuary Cove show in May, where the brand’s range will be showcased to local buyers.
The change consolidates Prestige’s Australian representation under MW Marine, which has been active in the local marine industry for more than 15 years. The dealership is already established as a Jeanneau dealer and also holds exclusive Australian distribution rights for Wellcraft and Four Winns. Originally founded in 2010 on Australia’s east coast, MW Marine expanded into Western Australia in 2024 as part of its broader national growth strategy.

Prestige Asia-Pacific sales director Tanguy Tertrais said the appointment reflects the importance of the Australian market within the broader region.
“Australia is one of the most vibrant luxury yacht markets in the Asia-Pacific region, and we have always been committed to offering its owners an exceptional experience that reflects the Prestige Art de Vivre,” Tertrais said.
“MW Marine embodies the values we stand for, with a team that brings passion for boating, strong industry experience and the infrastructure required to support a premium ownership experience.”
The partnership comes as Prestige continues to expand its M-Line range of multihull motor yachts, which has gained traction in Australia. The Prestige M48 is already operating in local waters, contributing to growing interest in the segment.

MW Marine dealer principal Matthew Millington said the appointment strengthens the company’s position in the Australian market.
“We are proud to be appointed exclusive dealer for Prestige in Australia,” Millington said. “This partnership complements our existing brands and allows us to offer Australian boaters access to a broader range of luxury motor yachts focused on design and innovation.”
Prestige, part of the Beneteau group, produces motor yachts across its F-Line, X-Line and M-Line ranges, with a focus on volume, light and onboard liveability. The brand reports more than 5,000 yachts delivered globally over the past 35 years.
The new dealership structure signals a more centralised approach for Prestige in Australia, with the brand aiming to strengthen after-sales support and dealer coordination as demand for larger cruising motor yachts continues to grow in the region.
