Melbourne Boat Show new releases, modifications to Maritimo's raceboats, Shark research boat

BRP is back at Melbourne Boat Show in 2009 with the first ever on-water PWC braking system in the Sea-Doo GTX Limited iS. Also featuring at the show are the latest additions to the Evinrude E-TEC range including the smallest of low emission outboard motors with the introduction of the 25hp and 30hp engines, the world's smallest production direct-injection outboards. Following a successful test with their third ‘new generation’ Class 1 raceboat in Australia last week, throttleman Peter McGrath and a clutch of technicians will head to the team’s European base in Plymouth, England, next week to make the required modifications to Maritimo 11 and 12. More here.
