The plastic boatbuilder says the 480 Brumby provides all the benefits of Polycraft`s unique DNA of being a soft riding, low maintenance, affordable boat as do all other existing models.
However, some new inclusions, such as improved overall finish and design makes the 4.80 Brumby a must-see for anyone in the market looking at purchasing a boat of this size, said Polycraft.
The 4.80 Brumby is available in frontrunner (bowrider), centre console and rear centre console configurations.
Polycraft says there's an extensive list of inclusions such as a 70lt underfloor fuel tank, foam injected hull for positive buoyancy, carpeted floor, ample seating and storage, while stainless steel bow, boarding and handrails are standard on all models.
The Brumby 2.20m beam, high sides, reverse chines for stability and full pod transom, make the boat suitable for both inshore and offshore fishing, and boating.
The 4.80 Brumby is also a suitable size and weight to launch and retrieve by one person, and is easily towed by the family sedan, fitting in most standard sized garages for storage, said Polycraft.
In the later part of 2007, a runabout version will also be available for those who want more protection from the elements.
