Pittwater Christmas Lights Parade

Calling all boats on the local waterway
Inspired by Sydney's Harbour of Light Parade, boating clubs on Pittwater have joined forces in an effort to attract a big enough fleet of boats for their inaugural Christmas lights parade that it becomes an annual fixture.
The Royal Motor Yacht Club (RMYC) Broken Bay and Prince Alfred Yacht Club are jointly inviting all boats with compliant navigation lights and, hopefully, many more lights and Glowsticks to join in the fun-filled twilight and night parade around Pittwater. More the merrier.
The event is free. Meet at 7.45pm this Friday December 14 at the RMYC breakwall on the outer marina arm. The Christmas lights parade will be led out by Silver Ghost, a stunning 92ft Hargraves-designed Palmer Johnson motoryacht.
The parade will cruise around Salt Pan Cove, Scotland Island, Church Point, Bayview, Mona Vale and Newport. Participants can go on to dine at either club, providing they sign in as guest and adhere to the usual club rules. More at www.royalmotor.com.au.
