Three lucky winners have walked away from the 2024 Pirtek Fishing Challenge with new Stacer boats to park up in their driveway.
Stacer donated three boats to the annual competition that raises much-needed funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and the Peter Duncan Neurosciences Research Unit at Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital.
The nationwide competition, which ran across the weekend of April 20-21, gave away the Stacer boats as on-water prizes.
The boats given away as part of the $125,000 on-the-water prize pool included:
The competition also gave away a Sea-Doo FishPro Scout fitted with an icebox, fishfinder, rod holders and trolling modes worth $23,157.
According to Stacer, the 469 Outlaw is a sought-after fishing rig renowned for its top performance and affordability. Standard equipment includes rod holders, a rear casting platform, a live bait tank and large side pockets.
“Featuring the famed Revolution Hull, the Outlaw is designed for inland and offshore waterways; a perfect companion for the Pirtek Fishing Challenge,” Stacer said.
The Stacer 379 Territory Striker, meanwhile, has developed a strong reputation in the industry as a high-quality aluminium fishing boat, perfect for Australia’s inland waterways.
“The fishing adventures are limitless with Stacer and competitions like the Pirtek Fishing Challenge provide aspiring fishos with a chance to get out on the water, fish and enjoy the outdoors in their very own backyard,” Stacer spokesperson Madeline Bishop said.
This is the 10th year that Stacer has sponsored the Pirtek Fishing Challenge.
