Perth 4WD & Fishing Show

The first annual Perth 4WD and Fishing Show is set to hit the Burswood Dome November 4–6

The three-day show will include displays of fishing gear, trailerboats, 4WD and camping gear, all under the one roof. Mercury, Honda and Yamaha will have a strong presence at the show. The main drawcard for fishos will be the Engel fishing stage with Aquatank fishing clinics presented by WA fishing experts Steve Starling, Mike Roenfeldt, Karl Langdon and Ian Staggles.

Travelling fishos will also have a chance to win big with the East Kimberley competition, where show visitors have a chance to win an outback fishing holiday on the Ord River at Macka's Barra Camp, flying SkyWest to Kununurra.

Legend of the outback, Malcolm Douglas, will be demonstrating camp cooking and outback travel tips.

A television special produced to complement the show and highlight some of Perth's top fishing spots will run one week before the show.

Organisers plan to create an Outback scene inside the Dome by bringing in windmills, bales of hay, and more than 200 trees.
