U-Boat Worx says its C-Questers are the first affordable private atmospheric submersiblesThe subs require no decompression and can dive up to 50m for two hours and resurface in two minutes.
According to the company, C-Quester subs allow their pilots and passengers to maintain normal pressure in their ears and breathe as they otherwise would on the surface, with no air tanks needed. Lung pressure remains normal, with no need for special breathing techniques.
Made from lightweight materials, making them very easy to handle, the C-Quester subs are said to be completely safe.
On the surface, C-Questers react as a normal, stable boat and, after diving, you can haul the C-Quester on your ship or trailer it home.
U-Boat Worx says C-Questers offer a true alternative to SCUBA diving.
