Pershing, ended the 35th Festival de La Plaisance at Cannes in style by taking three awards with the Pershing 82’, the boat the company premiered at the French event.
The latest yacht from the Ferretti Group brand was awarded Best Design trophy, Best Layout trophy and Best Innovation trophy for boats over 24 metres.
Pershing says that the new boat is 82 feet of cutting-edge design, sporty performance and exceptioinal comfort for on-board living.
A contemporary reinterpretation of the popular Pershing 80’, this new vessel was designed to enhance the pleasure of boating and ensure maximum performance at sea thanks to two MTU 16V 2000 M93 diesels boasting 2435hp together with Rolla surface piercing propellers.
The big Pershing is capable of a top speed of more than 45 knots with a range of 300 nautical miles. The propulsion system is run by Autotrim, an exclusive functionality that optimises the performance and the consumption of the boat at any speed and with any load, completely automatically.
The eye-catching features of the Pershing 82’ are the elongated superstructure, and the new sun-deck with its optional retractable helm station which provides an additional sunbathing area for guests. The sun-deck can be reached from an innovative carbon steel staircase, which can be lowered electro-hydraulically into the cockpit.
Below deck, where comfort and design reign, the Pershing 82’ has four cabins. The master suite amidships, a VIP cabin forward and two cabins with twin beds.
Additionally, there are two crew cabins (one for the captain and one for the crew) equipped with a laundry room and a bathroom.
