The Paynesville Gold Cup always provides spectators with some high-adrenaline high-octane racing and spectators can get up-close and personal with the action.
The event is being held this year on March 28 and 29 on one of the best waterways in Australia, the magnificent Gippsland Lakes.
Parking is free and within 50 metres of the entry gate. Public viewing areas are on the lakeside with on-site food and refreshment marquees. Entry fees are kept to a minimum with a weekend pass for an adult only $20 no charge for children under 16.
The organisers say that Paynesville offers plenty of eating houses, take away food and a large supermarket. Accommodation is close by and at reasonable rates.
