
Under the new agreement, select Cruise Craft models will be factory-rigged and packaged with either a Mercury Optimax direct-injection two-stroke or a Verado supercharged four-stroke.
"Our new factory-rigged Mercury-powered Cruise Craft models deliver new levels of quality and guaranteed performance to our customers," Cruise Craft sales and marketing manager Peter Benston said.
"When a Cruise Craft/Mercury package leaves our factory, it's ready for the water in absolutely every respect."
All equipment, from the boat, motor, trailer, instrumentation, and the choice of propeller has been specifically matched by Cruise Craft designers to best suit the boater's needs, according to the company.
Cruise Craft says its arrangement with Mercury Marine will not impact upon customers wanting to order Cruise Craft boat with an alternative brand of outboard engine.
