Registrations have opened for the first ever Riviera and Belize Festival of Boating to coincide with the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
The annual event, which gathers together owners of Riviera and Belize motor yachts from Australia and the world over, will take place this year on the Gold Coast from May 23-26, dovetailing neatly into the 2019 Sanctuary Cove show.
It will also give owners first-hand access to four world premieres that Riviera has planned as part of its show-stopping line-up. Just what those reveals are remain a carefully guarded secret as the weeks tick down to the 2019 event.
“The festival this year will deliver an exciting new format over three days, bringing the festival and the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show together as a celebration of the Riviera family,” the Coomera-based motor yacht maker said in a statement.

“The Riviera team of experts will present the very best and most popular aspects at over 30 individual educational seminars and hands-on workshops, both on and off the water at the festival.
“They feature new content and reflect owners' specific interests and the very latest technology on board Riviera and Belize motor yachts.”
Seminars will be held at the InterContinental Resort and onboard the Riviera Motor Yacht Club at the end of Pier F on the Sanctuary Cove marina. Others will be held on Riviera yachts moored on the water.

This year’s Living the Riviera Dream seminar will host David and Lis Paton, who have undertaken a three-year live-aboard adventure on their Riviera 53 Enclosed Flybridge, Pascua Lama.
Other events include a fashion show at the InterContinental’s The Grange featuring Australian fashion label Bonita, and a make-up show from Brisbane-based Issada.
The event will also run the Riviera Gala Marina Party, a red-carpet function held over the evenings of May 24 and 25, and with the theme “Triple Platinum”. It will use the 11-model showcase at the Sanctuary Cove show as its backdrop.
