Outer Reef introduces Nautilus Powercats

Outer Reef Yachts, the well-known builder of high quality long-range motoryachts, is proud to announce the launch of an exciting new power catamaran, the Nautilus Series.

Recognised in the yachting industry for its blue-water, long-range motoryachts built in Asia, Outer Reef Yachts says it has applied similar proven construction and design techniques to this new series, thereby increasing the opportunity to meet the needs of those desiring a multihull experience.

The new Nautilus Series presented by Outer Reef Yachts will be European-built and CE Certified, designed by award-winning yacht architect Ward Setzer as a genuine motor-power catamaran. Certainly, powercats appear to be gaining momentum at the moment.

NAUTILUS RANGE
The Nautilus Series will initially be offered as a 440 model, followed by larger 650 and 750 models. As the first of the series, the Nautilus 440 is expected to set a new standard for superior performance, stability, efficiency, and overall comfort.

Outer Reef says the series will surpass all competition in regards to efficiency, at both low and high speeds due to unique features including a semi-planing underwater form rising to asymmetric hulls, a plumb bow, and Cummins common-rail engines with Zeus pod drives.

With generous wing deck clearance (1m) and a remarkably flat attitude throughout her speed range, the Nautilus 440 will apparently offer a velvety smooth ride even in heavy seas.

As the newest addition to the Outer Reef family of cruising yachts, the Nautilus 440, as a production series, will introduce a fresh approach to yachting that can be enjoyed by owners globally, without sacrificing Outer Reef Yacht’s demonstrated ability to create a localised, tailored cruising experience.

NAUTILUS INTERIOR
The owner’s journey will be made most comfortable by a substantial interior space offered by the Nautilus 440, due to by her beam of 22’ 7” (6.9 metre) overall which creates a flow through main salon design, and an ample and comfortable living environment totaling nearly 1246 square feet (116.3 square meters).

Three interior layout options will provide superior accommodation space,
convenience and flexibility, with a choice of either three or four staterooms, each leading to a spacious main salon, expansive galley and abundant storage for extended cruising. Her interior will render an exquisite contemporary and spacious ambiance, totaling approximately 645 square feet (60.3 square metres).

As an example of one of the optional layouts, the Premium Package includes a comfortable full length master cabin with en-suite head, and boasts breathtaking views from her panoramic windows. She accommodates up to eight guests and ensures comfort during any journey, whether a weekend jaunt, or an extended long-range adventure.

EXTERIOR SPACES
Exterior living space of the Nautilus 440 will total approximately 601 square feet (56 square metres); the expansive fly bridge will offer attractive entertainment areas, including a spacious dining area, lounge pads, wetbar and essential storage space for water toys and diving gear.

The main deck will also be generous for a compact vessel – a perfect area for sunbathing and relaxation.

Most importantly, Outer Reef Yachts says it will ensure complete safety and comfort, as well as provide unmatched after-sale service, promising a superior ownership experience.
