More than 28,000 boating and outdoors enthusiasts flocked to the three-in-one show last year, and organisers are tipping that the 2007 show will be bigger and better than ever.
With 150 exhibitors showcasing their wares over a massive 16,000sqm, the show promises to lure unprecedented numbers.
"There's no other show like this in Queensland and it’s an opportunity not to be missed," said Barry Hibbard, general manager of the Boating Industry Association of Queensland (BIAQ). "With expert advice on tap, there’s no better place to get the good oil on the best spots in Australia to head for time away with family or friends, no matter what you’re into."
The show's Invitational Bream Tournament will again lure Australia's top anglers vying for the $5000 in prize money up for grabs. Ten hand-picked teams will battle it out for the catch of the day before returning to the showground for the daily weigh-in.
Admission costs are: adults, $10; concession (seniors, pensioners, students), $8; children (five to 12), $2. Kids under five enter free. For more information, visit www.4x4show.com.au
