Nautek Marine, one of Victoria's leading marine services providers, has moved into new, larger premises, at Braeside -- close to one of the country's busiest boat launching facilities.

The new purpose-built 700sqm facility in Boundary Road will offer all electrical and shipwright services as well as full mechanical services for all popular engine brands. The company claims it is a one-stop shop for all a boater's marine requirements.

Services on offer include the supply and installation of electric and electronic equipment, the repair, restoration and modification of fibreglass, gel coat and stainless steel fittings; engine fit-up and servicing; vessel inspections and assessments, insurance claim appraisal; management of refit and vessel projects, full electrical rewiring and even pre-purchase appraisals of replacement vessels.

Nautek's experienced staff has over 30 years experience in marine engineering and the aviation industry. Mechanics and technicians have been formally trained by factory technicians.

As the state's distributor for Aqualuma underwater LED lights and Lenco trim tabs, Nautek's authorised installations are fully backed by manufacturers' warranties. The company is also Victoria's largest retailer of Furuno, Raymarine, Garmin and Fusion equipment.

While the majority of its work is directed at the trailerboat sector, Nautek also offer comprehensive on-site services for larger vessels, both power and sail.

The company regularly holds demonstration nights to teach the finer points of the operations of the latest electronic marine technology -- from GPS navigation to advanced fish-finding techniques.
