An Australian brokerage has played its part in the sale of a 50-metre Heeson superyacht worth an eye-watering $50 million to its new Down Under owner.
The sale of the Heesen-built M/Y White, listed for €32,500,000, was brokered by One Brokerage founder Glen Moltoni together with Nathan Farrelly from Edmiston Company Monaco. The name of the motor yacht’s new owner was not disclosed.
Moltoni said the sale involved extensive work and collaboration from a team of highly experienced professionals worldwide.
“From engineering pre-purchase to legal, company structures, tax, and management, no detail is overlooked, ensuring every aspect of yacht ownership is carefully considered ahead of the acquisition,” he said.
“Our bespoke service caters to each client’s unique requirements, as no two yachts are the same.”
Moltoni said there was growing interest in the Australian market for larger yachts.
“We’re delighted to see more Australian owners investing in larger yachts and exploring cruising destinations worldwide,” he said.
“This exciting area of the market presents fantastic opportunities, and we’re ready to welcome both old friends and new clients into the world of yachting in the near future.”
The aluminium hull and superstructure M/Y White was launched by its Dutch builder in 2018 with accommodations onboard for up to 12 guests across six cabins.
M/Y White, currently lying at anchor in Europe, features a semi-displacement hull propelled by twin MTU engines that is capable of cruising at 15 knots and hitting a top speed of 23 knots, making it fast as well as luxurious.
The superyacht’s 68,800-litre fuel capacity gives it a range of about 3100 nautical miles at 11 knots.
Crewed by up to nine people, it was formerly available for charter for around $500,000 a week before expenses.
M/Y White is also fitted out with a number of water toys, allowing guests onboard to enjoy the water as much as they do the superyacht’s Cristiano Gatto-designed above- and below-deck spaces.
Onboard facilities include a deck-level jacuzzi and a gym.
One Brokerage, which has helped to connect Australian buyers with motor yachts over the last 16 years, will attend the upcoming 2023 Cannes and Monaco boat shows.
