Oceanco sets new luxury standard
New 86 metre mega yacht launchedIn mega yacht news, the Dutch builder Oceanco this week launched its latest giant, an unnamed 86 metre (282 ft) vessel that almost redefines luxury.
With a beam of over 14 metres (47ft), the motor yacht has room for six guest staterooms that are all described as "VIP size". The vast owner's suite is located on its own deck and features a bedroom and study, private outside deck area and its own pool.
The guests have to do their swimming in the infinity edge pool built at the stern...
When needed, the water can be pumped from this pool into holding tanks, the bottom can then be raised – and it becomes at helipad.
Oceanco says the contemporary interior is finished in a mix of walnut, teak and rosewood. Fitted with a pair of 4680hp MTU engines, the boat is expected to top 20 knots.
