Northside Marine wins Stacer award

Northside Marine, located in northern Brisbane suburb of Boondall, has won the Stacer McKeegan Award for Outstanding Achievement for 2015-2016.

The award was presented at a recent Stacer conference on the Gold Coast, but this is not the first Stacer award for Northside Marine.

Over the past five years the enduring boat dealer has received four awards including National Dealer of the Year.

The Stacer McKeegan Award for Outstanding Achievement aims to highlight Stacer dealerships that have hit impressive milestones or targets.

Stacer National Account Manager Drew Jackson said Northside Marine’s long service in the marine industry makes the dealership a worthy winner of the award.

"In 2015 Northside Marine celebrated their 50th anniversary with a massive in house boat show, the attention to detail and the enthusiasm of the staff at the show proved why Northside Marine is such a successful dealership," Mr Jackson said.

"Their support of local community groups is outstanding; with the support of Stacer and various suppliers, Northside Marine have raised close to $10,000 for Camp Quality through the sale of exclusive fishing shirts.

"I would like to congratulate Northside Marine on their win; they have been Stacer dealers since 2001 and have always displayed extreme professionalism across their dealership, staff and service," Mr Jackson said.

Northside Marine has been a family run business since 1965 and current Dealer Principal Greg Nickerson is a second generation of the Nickerson family to be at the helm.

Nickerson credits Northside Marine’s success to their dedicated and experienced team and selling high quality products.

"With staff of 35 people, we have over 450 years of marine industry experience which helps us to provide customers with the best product for their needs.

"Our motto is 'your boating partners for life' which pretty well wraps up our philosophy towards our clients.
