Nordhavn celebrates 40 years of business
Pacific Asian Enterprises (PAE) is celebrating its 40th anniversary as the parent company behind Nordhavn's long-range liveaboard motor yachts and cruisersPAE will be holding a 40th Anniversary Gala and Nordhavn Rendezvous over the weekend of April 27-29 at its world headquarters in Dana Point, California.
More than 150 guests comprising current and new Nordhavn owners, past owners, staff from PAE and its partner factories are on the invite list. As part of the celebration, PAE will partner with the Ocean Institute, a non-profit charity group dedicated to ocean conservancy and marine education.
In addition to the lectures and parties that will be going on, PAE's event will feature a Vendors' Exhibit so existing and would-be boatowners can discuss the latest gear needed aboard and answer customers' questions.
"Four decades ago, a trio of 20-somethings with a love for [motor] cruising-style boats came together to form Pacific Asian Enterprises, a company that would have a historical impact on the world of ocean-crossing sail and power boats," said PAE Marketing Director Jennifer Stern.
"Today, PAE is stronger and more influential than ever thanks to the continually ground-breaking Nordhavn brand and the accomplishments of Nordhavn owners. It is with extreme pride and gratification that we are able to commemorate this milestone," Stern added.
