Queensland builder Noble Boats International has appointed a new dealer for its rugged plate aluminium boats on the Sunshine state's central coast.
Ocean Marine in Mackay will become the major dealer for Noble Boats in the area. Noble has a strong following across Queensland as its boats easily handle the rugged conditions often found both around Brisbane and further north on the Great Barrier Reef.
Visitors to this year's Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show will also have a chance to see the new generation of Noble Boats ranging from 5 metres up to 7.5 metres. The company will also have a new brand of boat on display at the show.
As yet unnamed, the new boat was developed with Cunningham Marine in Brisbane and will be of conventional pressed aluminium construction rather than Noble's trademark aluminium plate.
But despite the change in production methods for the 4.9 metre boat, Noble Boats' general manager Jason Lee promises the quality and workmanship will be the of the same standard as on the company's larger boats.
Noble Boats' staff do all the work on their boats -- from naval architecture, through boat building, painting and electrical fit-out -- to ensure their boats are finished with the high standards both they and their customers expect.
With models ranging from half cabins to centre and side consoles and ranging in length from five metres to 12.5, Noble Boats has a vessel for everyone from the keenest offshore fisherman to the family that just wants to enjoy a day on the water.
