Earlier this year, Mercury released a new VesselView control hub in the U..S. to meet the needs of today's powerboaters running multi-engine craft loaded to the hilt with electronics.
Now available in Australia and NZ, the new VesselView703 can simultaneously display information for up-to four engines across more than 30 parameters including fuel level, range, oil temperature and pressure, battery voltage, water depth and genset.
A new SolarMAX high-definition glass touchscreen is included with wider viewing angles, dimmable lighting and a glare-reducing coating for day and night viewing.
A new WheelKey, which can be customised for driver preferences, and an expanded keypad have been designed to provide the operator with easy control.
But the new 7in on-dash controller goes beyond just monitoring and relaying engine data to take control of a wide range of cruising, operating and navigational functions.
WI-FI, BLUETOOTH, ACTIVE TRIM, GPS AND MORE
The next generation VesselView703 includes built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
An Active Trim Control Pad will automatically and effortlessly trim an engine or engines when coupled with ECU module.
There is also an integrated echo-sounder, dual-channel CHIRP transducer, 10Hz GPS and chartplotter.
With twice the memory of the previous model, the VV703 has a more dual-core processing power for speedy operation. Direct software updates are now included.
Further, the VesselView703 can also be integrated with all the Simrad accessories for the NSS Evo3 product line, including radar, sonar transducers, fish finder transducers, AIS, VHF, Sonic Hub/Fusion Link, C-Zone digital switching, and more.
