New Wave

Yamaha Motor Company says its four-stroke FX series, released this year, now sports a stunning dash design more like that of a sports car, featuring digital display functions and dry compartment storage.

The FX Cruiser models also feature a digital compass, fuel management system, a new boarding ladder, and pop-up cleats.

The new Yamaha WaveRunner VX 700 combines the VX hull with the engine of the XL 700 series.

The XLT 1200 WaveRunner offers a 155hp engine and seating for three, and is a craft for the whole family, the company says.

Yamaha says its Power-Valve System (PVS) ensures that performance and throttle response is smooth and crisp.

The Yamaha Super Jet, the company says, is for those who prefer to 'stand' on the water. It features a lightweight hull said to offer excellent turning characteristics.

WaveRunners are available through an Australia-wide network of dealers.

Yamaha Motor Corporation has also launched a website for WaveRunner fans.

The new website, Waverunner-Fan.com, is a one-stop-shop for all things relating to WaveRunners.

Although an initiative by Yamaha WaveRunner, the company says the new website is still geared towards all PWC riders.
