In one of the first new boat releases for 2014, Stabicraft has launched the all-new 2050 Supercab, a keel-up redesign of one the company’s most popular models.
Stabicraft says that the 2050 isn’t just a bigger version of the company’s popular 1850 Supercab. It features a longer, newly-designed hull, more ergonomic cabin and Stabicraft’s Game Chaser Transom and Arrow Pontoons which are said to have improved the ride over the outgoing 2050 model.
The live-bait tank is deeper and the new bait station now features a thicker cutting board, knife slots and cup holders.
Still light enough to tow and launch easily, the 2050 Supercab is constructed from marine grade alloys and utilising Stabicraft’s ‘life-ring’ pontoon design making it durable, stable, spacious and virtually unsinkable.
"The 2050 has been one of New Zealand’s most popular models for almost 10 years so for us to do a complete redesign was an exciting challenge," said Stabicraft Marine Australasian Sales Manager, Sean McColl.
"Now that things like the Maxwell winch and extra-large live-bait tank are standard plus our innovative pontoon and hull changes, we think fishers will love it."
Packages for the new 2050 Supercab start from less than $80,000 with a four-stroke outboard.
