Australian fibreglass boat brand Seafarer under The Haines Group have just unveiled a new range of heavy duty, performance-driven trailerboats called the x-tra strong and x-tra tough X-Series.
Seafarer has transformed a selection of its standard models and beefed them up with the works. Extra resin, stainless steel and almost 100kg of glass have been added to their structural design, while their long-range capabilities have been given a boost with a big increase in fuel capacity.
Included in the special edition X-Series range are the popular Victory 6.0 and Vagabond 6.2, which have been "overbuilt" to be the ultimate fishing vessels according to John Haines of The Haines Group.
"We created the X-series for the customer looking for something much more resilient and rigid than anything on the market currently," Mr Haines said.
"These boats bring together a blend of toughness and high performance to deliver a boating experience like no other, for deep-sea fishing enthusiasts who really want to test out their vessel in the toughest of conditions," Mr Haines said.
Said to be masterfully handcrafted in The Haines Group's Wacol factory, the boats feature an impressive list of standard features with premium finishes and materials including stainless steel rails and steering wheel, heavy duty rodholders, live bait tanks and moulded seats including a tackle cupboard and hatch.
The Victory and Vagabond X-series have also been fitted with long range fuel tanks, giving the customer extra time on the water thanks to an impressive upgrade to 270lt.
Together with the high performance outboard fitted on the back (the Victory up to 225hp max, the Vagabond available with twin configuration to give you a number of power options), you can confidently fish all day long with your mates or turn your day trip into a weekend expedition.
Seafarer boats have been made in Australia since 1957 and continue to be respected for their legendary build quality and smooth ride and the legacy continues with the new X-series range.
With a build time of approximately 12 weeks, you can get your hands on your very own X-Series in time for summer.
The new Victory and Vagabond X-Series models will break cover and be revealed for the first time at the JV Marine World stand at this year’s Melbourne Boat Show on from June 17-20 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
