New Quinnie 460 Renegade
- For the bloke in all of usQuintrex’s newest range of Renegades are built for the bloke in all of us. The range features two models, the 460 and 520 which are a bare bones, no-nonsense fishing boats tough, strong and value for money.
The 460 Renegade is the smallest in the range however still packs significant punch; with 3.00mm bottom sides and 2.00mm topsides, 77-litre fuel tank and 60hp rating, this boat has everything a bloke could want.
The 460's on-trailer weight is approximately 800kg which falls within the tow range for most mid-sized family cars. The 460 therefore is easily towed which is important when you are taking it away on holidays or that longer fishing trip and it's easy to store in your garage or carport.
Quintrex National Account Manager Jason Boal says the 460 Renegade is a great entry-level fishing boat at an affordable price.
"The alloy sports console, which is available in side or centre console, has been redesigned to give a more modern and slimline appearance. The new console creates greater cockpit space and fishing access around the boat, it also features a new windscreen for added protection from the elements," he said.
"Featuring a front casting platform, the 460 is suitable for any fisho, the enclosed transom motor well is also a quality feature as it keeps water out when underway or fishing," Said Jason.
The 460 Renegade is rated for frive people which is good news for families and, with basic floatation, it is safe to take out your most precious cargo.
You can option up your 460 Renegade up into a custom fishing machine with hydraulic steering, live bait tank or live well.
The 460 Renegade like, all the boats in the Quintrex range comes as an "Instant Boating Package" complete with boat motor and trailer to get you out of the house and onto the water quicker. The price quoted by Tweed Coast Marine for the 460 was $22,690 with a 60hp four-stroke Mercury while the 520 was quoted at $25,300 with a 75hp two-stroke Merc.
