New Portland boat ramp
New ramp getting plenty of praise from fishos... and it isn't even finished!Portland's new ramp is nearly ready to accept boats and already it's getting heaps of praise from locals and visitors alike.
According to the facebook page wildblueportland, the twin ramps are deemed to be two lanes per side but are more like four.
The parking facilities have been massively upgraded and there are abundant new cleaning tables.
According to the website, the ramps are nice and steep with good, clean deep water. As can be seen in the accompanying photos, there are also long floating pontoons to tie up while you're parking the car or getting equipment.
All up, it's a big thumbs up from the Portland crowd.
