SunCoast Outboard debuts at Sanctuary Cove boat showChaparral boosted its display at the 2015 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show with the launch of the all-new 250 SunCoast bowrider.
Newly-appointed dealer for Queensland, Stefan Boating World, was on hand to display the 250 SunCoast alongside a large range of cruisers and bowriders at the busy 2015 Sanctuary Cove venue.
"This is the first outboard-powered Chaparral since 1995 and the first time a SunCoast has been seen outside of the US," said Tim Atkins from Stefan Boating World.
"We were blown away when we pulled the wrapper off," he said. "The layout is brilliant with unbelievable use of space, huge storage, impressive quality finish and this boat is loaded with features."
Chaparral says the SunCoast 250 is brimming with new ideas and is the first in a planned series of high-volume deck boats with smaller models on the drawing board, possibly for release later this year.
"The distinguishing feature of the new SunCoast is the huge platform around the motor that offers unparalleled deck space at the transom for water sports, but also easy access getting on and off at the marina.
"The storage is phenomenal, the standard toilet is a bonus and, of course, Chaparral’s saltwater DNA is evident everywhere you look," said Atkins.
