Award-winning French trimaran manufacturer Neel has updated its 45 and 65 trimarans calling them the new Evolution models.
The Neel 45 Evolution and flagship 65 Evolution are said to retain the brand's reputation for optimal safety, centralised sailing controls, responsive steering, and superb performance, while adding a host of improved features.

On the Neel 45, access at sea is easier with additional transom steps, while a rigid cockpit bimini facilitates better access to the boom and greater protection from the elements. The 45 Evolution also has a more luxurious interior finish, with a comprehensive option inventory offering innovative alternatives for solar and navigation electronics.
Slated for a launche at the 2018 International Multihull Boat Show in La Grande Motte from 18-22 April, the Neel 45 is said to sail faster courtesy of the optional central daggerboard combined with optional performance rig.
There are two layouts: the "Loft" version, which sleeps up to eight, and the "Cruise", which sleeps between six and ten.
NEEL 65
NEEL has also upgraded its flagship 65 Evolution, with a huge "cockloon" — a new term on use refertring to the seamless integration of cockpit and saloon — where seats cater for 14 guests.
The central saloon has the flexibility of converting dining and coffee tables to berths or benches as needed, while the galley is promoted as expansive and ingeniously designed to maximise space, storage and functionality at sea.
The 65 boasts a stunning master suite on the main deck affording breathtaking views, while improved access to the central hull revolutionises the trimaran's previous layout.
To be launched in La Rochelle in July 2018.
