The range consists of three batteries all featuring calcium/calcium construction which results in a fully-sealed, maintenance-free battery and prevents risky acid spillage.
The range is covered by a two-year warranty and every battery features a carry handle for easy installation and removal.
The base battery, referred to as the 7401, is rated at 500 cold cranking amps and has 85 minutes’ reserve capacity for peace of mind.
The 7501 and 7601 have the added versatility of dual terminals. The 7501, with 580 cold cranking amps and 130 minutes’ reserve capacity is suited to watercraft up to 150hp, while the 7601 has 650 cold cranking amps and a reserve capacity of 160 minutes and is suited to watercraft up to 350hp.
Sales manager for RACV Batteries, Ross Ginns, said he was excited about the release of a maintenance-free battery with a two-year warranty for watercraft owners.
“When consumers are buying a club-branded product they know they are buying quality and reliability, which is something we all want when we are out on the water.”
