Power Equipment, the sole authorised Australian distributor for Yanmar diesel engines, has announced a restructure of senior management positions following the recent resignation of the company's power products sales and marketing manager, Mike Edwards.
Managing director Allan Foster told BoatPoint Edwards’ departure was the perfect time to give his management team new responsibilities to keep them motivated and challenged.
Noel Heritage, currently Power Equipment's business manager will take over the role of national power and products sales manager while also retailing responsibility for sales to defence customers and the South Pacific region.
Jim Kibblewhite, formally engineering and training manager, will now head up the engineering and customer service functions, while Jeff Fraser has been promoted to marketing supervisor overseeing the marketing functions for power equipment.
Michael Blair, the national marine sales manger, will continue in his existing role.
Foster says Power Equipment's relocation to its new purpose-built premises in Melbourne has delivered great efficiencies and even better service to its customers.
