New Malibu Response TXi on display at 2024 Melbourne Boat Show

Sourced directly from Malibu HQ in Albury just for the show, the new Response TXi was originally unveiled at the Sydney Boat Show earlier this year.

With a focus on owner feedback and consultation with expert-level skiers, the new Response offers a raft of enhancements designed to improve on-water experience for both skiers and drivers. 

Malibu says the new Response is engineered for both professional and recreational skiers, with the refined T-Cut Diamond hull offering “exceptional performance” that enables skiers of all abilities to “easily navigate” the course.

Versatility was also a key area for Malibu, with the new Response catering more than ever to families and the crossover market.

The TXi can now be fitted with a ski tower, ski/wakeboard racks, and a Bimini, while owners can also add the auto-set Wedge technology, which creates a larger wake for boarders without the need for additional ballast.

All of this means that skiing families who also like to dabble in wakeboarding can comfortably partake in both disciplines behind the Response. 

Malibu has also overhauled the interior of the boat for improved luxury, functionality, and comfort. The 2025 TXi features a new flip-down trick seat, a new soft-grip and deck track paneling with slalom driver course tracking points, interior mounted ski racks, an integrated hot water shower, new billet aluminium grab handles, larger 8-inch Wetsounds premium speakers, and improved driver’s seat positioning.
