New Horizon models

Debuting at 2012 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

Horizon will debut a brand new E56 motoryacht as well as showcase three new yachts - an E88 motoryacht, PC60 power catamaran La Manguita and EP69 expedition yacht -- at the Horizon Yacht USA display at the Fort Lauderdale oat Show from October 25 to 29.

The latest model introduced in the Horizon E series, the E56 (pictured) is powered by Volvo Penta IPS 900 700hp engines and features a functional three-stateroom layout that includes a full-beam master and main deck lower helm.

She also includes a custom hardtop on the flybridge, hydraulic swim platform, and Volvo Dynamic positioning system for easy manoeuvring.

Another E series motoryacht on display at this year's show is the new Horizon E88 built on a 21ft beam that provides a spacious four-stateroom layout with additional aft crew quarters as well as formal dining and a country kitchen. This E88 features an enclosed skylounge with dayhead, custom Raymarine navigational package, Octoplex monitoring system, zero speed stabilisers and is powered by twin CAT C32 1700hp engines.

With a bulbous bow and twin MAN 560hp engines, the Horizon EP69 expedition yacht offers long-range cruising and efficiency in only 69 feet, and her hull design allows for a 20ft beam and three-stateroom layout along with separate crew quarters. The EP69 is equipped with a Raymarine navigation package, bow/stern thrusters and stabilisers and can be operated from the lower pilothouse or Hi/Lo helm on the flybridge.

A new addition to the Horizon fleet is the PC60 power catamaran which has a 24ft 6in beam and a three-stateroom layout with an on-deck master and an extra crew room aft of the VIP. This PC60 is built with CAT C12A 715hp engines and is now offered in an open or enclosed bridge version as well as with an optional pod drive or standard shaft drive system.
