New home for Back Cove and Sabre

In demand boats move to The Spit

Emarine Australia, the exclusive importer of Back Cove and Sabre motor yachts from the USA, has moved to a new office at the d'Albora Marina at The Spit in Sydney's Middle Harbour.

For the past six years, Emarine has been based to the west of Sydney's world-famous Harbour Bridge, so the move puts the boats closer to the heart of Sydney's active boating scene.

Emarine director Jed Elderkin says the steady growth of the business and its recent sales success meant it was time to move to a more mainstream location.

"We feel the market is increasingly interested in high-quality, craftsman-built boats and Back Cove and Sabre fit this profile perfectly," Elderkin says, "It seemed like the right time to bring our brands to a more central location."

Elderkin says that with so many brands of luxury boats represented around the marinas at The Spit, it made it easy for customers to see the range of options and make more informed decisions.

Emarine has had a very successful year so far with eight new Back Cove vessels sold -- including the all-new Back Cove 34 which was sold sight-unseen -- and the very successful launch of the Sabre 40 sedan at the Sydney International Boat Show.
