Hanse has recently announced its latest pocket superyacht, the Hanse 675. The German manufacturer says the 67ft yacht will soon be setting a new benchmark for yachts in the 60 to 70ft size class. With similar styling to the Hanse 575, the 675 is set to replace the 630e – the previous most successful model in its class.
Designed for optimum comfort with spacious and versatile interiors, the 675 will also have great sailing characteristics and speed, we're told. And although pricing is yet to be confirmed, importer Windcraft says that the boat will also be good value for money.
The 675 will have an overall length of 20.95m and width of 5.90m. There are two keel versions available – a standard keel of 3m and shorter keel of 2.60m.
This big yacht is designed with Hanse’s easy sailing concept in mind. It will have a fully-battened mainsail with the option of furling and is equipped with Hanse’s trademark self-tacking jib. All lines lead under the deck to the winches next to the helmsman, so buyers can sail with a small crew.
For lifestyle lovers there is ample space on the foredeck for sunbathing and the bathing platform has a large opening which gives easy access after swimming. The dinghy garage is large enough for a 3.2m jet tender with docking system.
Below deck, the interior volume is 30 per cent larger than the 630e, this gives a spacious modern loft-like look and offers a great entertaining area. The 24 larger hull windows, double skylights and opening hatches in the saloon create a light, airy, luxurious living space.
The galley is ultra modern and equipped with fridge drawers, a dishwasher, an ice-maker, a microwave and an espresso maker. The Hanse 675 has versatile layouts with the option for an aft galley. Also, there’s the choice of converting the dining area to a king-sized lounge.
Other features include vinylester sandwich construction, stainless-steel keel bolts and the main bulkhead laminated to deck and hull.
Peter Hrones, Managing Director of the Windcraft Group commented: "One of the things that sets this yacht apart from the rest is the spacious, light-flooded interior which is like modern apartment living. The flexibility to add more lounging areas is a great lifestyle option. I think the 675 is great value for money for a luxury super yacht."
The first boat will be completed at end of the European summer 2015.
