Fountaine Pajot has just announced a brand new 44-foot powercat created by internationally renowned naval architects and designers Daniel Andreiu and Pierangelo Andreani.
Set to launch in early 2017, the new MY44 features an avant-garde design with sporty lines, clever use of space, and a focus on fuel efficiency using semi-displacement hulls.
The living space includes a 20sq m saloon, 12sq m flybridge, and a decadent 15sq m master suite. Sleek panoramic windows throughout the catamaran offr spectacular 360-degree views and beautiful levels of natural light, the yard says.
The French catamaran builder adds that there is a choice of relaxation and entertaining precincts onboard, including a sprawling flybridge with lounges and dining table, a large forward cockpit with sun lounges and cabin access, a raised contemporary saloon, and a generous aft cockpit that opens from the galley and ranges to a fixed or hydraulic aft swimming platform.
Designed for extended cruising adventures, the MY44 has a fully equipped galley with full-sized refrigerator, homelike fittings and loads of storage.
The new catamaran is said to have a revolutionary accommodation design with an expansive 15sq m luxury master suite that affords beautiful views from its panoramic windows, and features a sea-facing island queen bed, optional wall-mounted television, ambient lighting, plus a sleek en suite.
Friends can relax in comfort in the guest cabins, choosing from the seven square metre VIP cabin or a twin or double cabin to starboard, both with exclusive en suites and elegant fixtures.
With 2000-litre fuel tanks and 700-litre water tanks, the new MY44 is ideal for long-range cruising with stnadrd modest power of twin IPS350s (260hp D4s), but the same cat is said to achieve top speeds of 30 knots with its optional IPS600 (435hp D6) engines and pod drives.
