Fjord has expanded its powerboat line-up with the new Fjord 36 xpress sporting twing 350hp Mercury Verado outboard engines for a top speed of 45 knots. But this dashing European centre cab has something else in store.
Below deck, the Fjord 36 xpress has a double cabin as well as a head with shower, making the fast getaway performance craft ideal for couple keen to het away for the weekend or sleep aboard after a dinner out.
In the cockpit, a wide lounge with two benches and a table create an al fresco dining and entertaining area. When table and aft bench are lowered, the new Fjord 36 xpress turns into a luxurious sun terrace with a bar, refrigerators and direct access to the water.
The stylish outdoor kitchen below the T-Top is the perfect place to prepare food and drinks.
OUTBOARD ADVANTAGE
Riding the global boom in outboard-powered boats, the new Fjord 36 xpress can not only explore shallow water, hit the beach, and head out wide, but with the engines tilted clear of the water there’s less maintenance to worry about.
The fastest Fjord in the range, the 36 xpress will reach 45 knots from its twin 350hp Mercury Verado engines, while delivering impressive fuel economy and low noise. The electro-hydraulic steering promises direct and comfortable handling, even at high speeds, the boatbuilder says.
Fjord says its new 36 xpress leads the premium outboard-boat market, is handcrafted with particularly high demands on quality and luxury, and stands in a sea of sameness.
The 36 footer is the smallest boat in the Fjord powerboat range that tops out with a 48 footer. Founded in Norway, Fjord is owned by the big German yard Hanse and distributed by eyachts in Australia.
The Fjord 36 Xpress powered by two 350 hp outboard engines will be priced around the $350k in Australia, eyachts says.
