Windcraft, the Australian importer for the Hanse Group yachts, is bringing the new Dehler 38 to Sydney in October. Windcraft says that the Dehler 38 was a huge success at the Dusseldorf Boat Show earlier in this year.
The Dehler presents a contemporary style mixed with retro lines giving the 38 footer a unique feel for owners seeking something different. The sleek euro design has a new hull and deck layout improving function and space, we're told.
Interior volume has increased and the cockpit layout offers efficient line handling and control from the twin wheel helms stations. The flush-mounted mainsheet traveler in the deck floor keeps the cockpit area clean and uncluttered, an appealing feature for short-handed sailing.
New interior features on the Dehler 38 include continuous side windows for more light, two or three cabin layout options and custom interior materials including Mahogany, Italian Oak and Teak.
Australia's first Dehler 38 will be the race version with a race keel and a competition package including larger winches and a fared rudder. The new import will be competing on Pittwater and available for viewing at Team Windcraft's head office on Pittwater in Sydney, NSW.
