The new Outsider 595 HT answers the call of fishing and family boaters for hardtop rigs with greater weather and sun protection. With this new model, CruiseCraft has now expanded to four the number of distinctive HardTop trailerboats in its fleet.
"By introducing the CruiseCraft HardTop design to our Outsider 595 model, boaters can now extend their boat season," said Nathan Nichols of CruiseCraft.
"CruiseCraft customers who have moved to the HardTop configuration, consistently tell us that they are able to go boating in weather conditions when previously they would have stayed at home.
"This is solely due to the extra protection that is achieved with a HardTop design."
To date the CruiseCraft Outsider 595 was available exclusively as a conventional ‘soft top’.
With the release of the new HardTop model, customers now have a choice between the two configurations, enabling them to select the design best suited to their boating needs.
The HardTop for the Outsider 595 is styled along similar distinctive lines of the existing HardTop offerings in the CruiseCraft Explorer line up: the 685, 625 and 595.
GOING HARD ON THE HARDTOP
The surge in hardtop popularity is something that has underpinned this long-serving Brisbane boatbuilder in recent years.
The CruiseCraft HardTop is designed to be flowing, in proportion and expertly tooled. It’s a purpose designed and manufactured fibreglass moulding specifically tailored to this model.
The fibreglass ‘lid’ is manufactured using a split mould, so the roof and interior lining are smooth and buffed to a mirror finish.
But it’s the resulting weather protection that makes boating more comfortable and extends your season in a HardTop.
You can head offshore under stormy skies, or blistering summer sunshine, well protected by the HardTop on your Outsider 595HT. This is not only welcome by offshore anglers up north and down south, but family boaters with kids.
BUILT TOUGH WITH VENTILATION
Supporting the aft end of the moulded HardTop is a pair of robust stainless steel uprights. These also double as very secure handholds for the crew while travelling at sea.
The HardTop is formed with a full height toughened glass windscreen at the front, and sliding glass side panels on both sides that are said to be very generous in size to allow a heap of fresh air to flow inside.
An electric wiper on the starboard screen is a standard inclusion, along with Lenco auto retract trim tabs to keep your 595 on an even keel in strong crosswinds or with an uneven payload.
OUTSIDER V EXPLORER
Cruise Craft says boaters have come to appreciate the subtle yet significant differences between the Outsider and Explorer designs. The Outsider 595 model features a deeper and safer side-deck walkaround from the cabin to the bow.
Therefore, the cabin is slightly narrower but also longer, making it is ideally suited to overnighting and general family boating.
Plenty of room remains in the cockpit to accommodate four people who can comfortably fish together.
OTHER UPGRADES
In reconfiguring the Cruise Craft Outsider 595 for the HardTop, some additional changes to the tooling have been made.
A re-shaped modular dash panel has been designed to accommodate larger electronic displays up to 15in. An optional sliding and lockable cabin door provides both privacy and security.
Other major features of the Cruise Craft Outsider 595 HT model include dual-battery management system, hydraulic steering, VHF radio and aerial, full-width folding rear lounge, and plumbed under-floor rear storage.
