New Chris-Craft Catalina 34

Renderings revealed of new flagship centre console with triple outboards and overnighting accommodation
Famous American boat brand Chris-Craft has officially revealed the first-look of its hot new Catalina 34. Set to premier at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in October, the Catalina 34 will be the largest model to join the family's centre-console series, which previously topped out with the Catalina 29 we last tested back in May 2014.
At 34' and nearly 11' beam, the new Catalina 34 will be fully equipped with a variation of twin- and triple-engine combinations. The fuel capacity will be north of 1135 litres (300 US gallons) for long-range excursions. Wherever your boating adventures take you, the Catalina 34 will get you there in comfort and style with confidence, says the US yard.
But we're told there will be nothing traditional about the bow area of this boat compared to other centre consoles. The seating and sun-pad conversion for sun bathing will be a simple process to convert for whatever the occasion, boasting a double sun lounger with arm rests and drink holders.
Expect 360 visibilities while navigating from the helm of the new 34, which boasts ample space to manage all of the latest gadgets Garmin has to offer. The glass windshield offers increased visibility and provides comfort to the helm and two companion chairs against inclement weather.
Below the forward helm seating and console you will find overnighting capabilities with a nicely appointed berth and very accommodating head. The use of this space is endless for the anglers, scuba diver, and weekend overnighters.
The cockpit is said to provide all the features for a day of serious fishing or cruising with friends and family. There is hideaway seating and the ability to convert to a complete wrap around configuration comfortable at any speed. The Catalina 34 will also have a full-beam Sport Top with a Chris-Craft designed sunshade to offer protection from the sun and weather.
The combination of power, comfort, and Chris-Craft styling in the new Catalina 34 will make this boat a one of a kind on the water, says the Florida yard.
"We, at Chris-Craft, are proud to introduce our latest development and flagship in our Catalina series of centre console boats. The Catalina 34 was developed after high demand from hundreds of our Catalina owners. We have combined all of our dealer and customer comments to deliver a product that is sure to be a winner in its class,"said Jeff Ellis, VP of Sales and Marketing.
