Chaparral Boats has completed a trifecta by including the new 330 Wide Tech sports cruiser in its Sydney Boat Show lineup.
The 330 Cruiser joins the eagerly-awaited 327SSx and the world release of the 225 SSi Sports Cabin on the Chaparral stand along with a healthy showing of bow riders, wake boats and a smaller cruiser.
Australia hasn’t seen the Wide Tech design in a cruiser yet, and according to the Chaparral importer Scott O’Hare, the extra room in the bow is so significant that many buyers will be able to consider a smaller, less-expensive boat while still enjoying the comfort and space that many larger boats can’t offer with a traditional bow.
"The 33 footer is more like a 35 footer with this new design," says O’Hare. "It’s not just the Wide Tech bow that makes it special, the 330 is all new, with the latest fuel-efficient hull design, the option of a full-sized forward berth or convertible forward dinette, hardtop as standard and a brilliant cockpit layout -- basically it's feature packed from top to bottom.”
Chaparral has committed substantial funds to R&D over the past few years, virtually renewing their entire fleet and releasing a number of new, innovative and exciting models, many of which can be seen at the show in Hall 2 stand 203.
