International Marine, the builders of more than 50,000 Caribbean boats in 55 years of continual business in the outer Melbourne suburb of Scoresby, Vic, has appointed Andrew Craddock from Marina Boat Sales as its new SA state dealer.
With previous experience selling Riviera and Maritimo cruisers, Craddock (pictured left alongside John Barbar, International Marine's Sales and Marketing Manager) is excited to be launching his new Caribbean dealership.
Craddock has been busy helping shape the new Caribbean 40 Express currently in build and says he also has a bunch of Caribbean trailerboats on order for his new dealership.
"The Adelaide market has been resilient in the last few years and the new Caribbean dealership is a good fit," Craddock told BoatPoint and boatsales during a recent Caribbean factory visit.
“The new 40 Express will hit the sweet spot size-wise, with the way we use boats and with available marina berths, as well as the all-important price point,” Craddock says, adding that the lifted fit and finish will be like no Caribbean we have seen before.
The first of the new 40 Express boats will be a special build setting new standards for Caribbean, with considerable input from Craddock and his partner, an interior designer.

Meanwhile, Craddock has big plans for his other big interest, Marina Adelaide, with an in-water boat show slated for the end of March with a bunch of Caribbeans and other top boat brands sold on site.
Situated some 30 minutes form the CBD at Largs North, Marina Adelaide includes full servicing facilities and on-site contractors, a travel lift, maintenance sheds and there is a proposal for a dry stacks and additional trailerboat storage. Watch this space for more Caribbean news.
