Sundance Marine will highlight a large display of the latest offerings from Beneteau on the water at the Melbourne Summer Boat Show, with the Australian premier of the unique new Beneteau Oceanis 38 on display for the first time at Docklands from January 31 to February 2.
Beneteau says that the design is a modest and easily-managed sail plan, providing sprightly performance for a boat of her type. Twin rudders give her a solid feel with a smart cockpit layout.
However, we're told her interior will be the star of the show. With the choice of a basic day-sailer format or more detailed Weekender and Cruising specifications, the interior can be enhanced at a later date with accommodation packs to match your lifestyle or budget.
"The Oceanis 38 is a truly unique offering that we’ve never seen before from any manufacturer," said Sundance Marine Managing Director David Beck. "The yacht is designed to be modified to suit a variety of yachting requirements, making it a very versatile mid-size yacht, offering the latest state of the art construction, performance and styling, market leading innovation that you would expect from Beneteau," he added.
Sundance Marine will also present Oceanis 41 and 45 models along with the Sydney to Hobart specialised First 40 and the stylish Sense 55.
