The Finnish-made Axopar range of dayboats has now been extended back down the range to include a new 24 footer in open, T-top and hardtop variants.
Local importer eyachts says Axopar has become known as the "on-water Ferrari".
"With Axopar it's all about cutting edge design and high quality. Even though this is a 24-foot entry-level boat, Axopar have decided not to compete on price
with other boats in this size range," eyachts managing director Peter Hrones said.
"They have built a high-quality boat to the same standard as the Axopar 28 and Axopar 37 - that's exceptional."
The new range of 24-footers includes seating and sunbaking areas on the foredeck, comfortable twin sofas in front of the cockpit consoles that double as twin berths, and social seating for five in the cockpit.
There are dedicated fender storage areas, an optional refrigerator under the co-pilot seat, a flushing toilet, a sunbed for the front deck, and water ski pole and canopy options for summer.
Built for rough water, the Axopar 24 has a windscreen and side windows fashioned from toughened, tinted glass in powder-coated aluminium frames.
High-end illuminated push buttons on the dashboard, a leather steering wheel and cupholders contribute to the upmarket drive and ride.
With low windage in a compact package, the new Axopar 24s are said to be easy to put on a trailer, store in a dry stack or keep in the backyard.
Packages with 90hp Mercury outboard start from $99,950. More information at eyachts.com.au.
