Expanding its new 2018 line-up in the global boating market propelled largely by power these days, Jeanneau has launched a new bigger multipurpose bowrider, a new 9m walkaround with accommodation for four, and a new 33ft inboard-diesel weekender, while also updating several popular models already in its fleet including the Leader sportscruisers.
By developing its product range based on strong product lines and continual innovation, Jeanneau says it will continue to take market share in the world of powerboats, and attract the best marine professionals to join its international dealer network.
Cue to Sydney Jeanneau powerboat dealer Matt Willett, who said the walkaround models have been popular. He said the new 9.0m Cap Camarat is the pick of the new 2018 models, with a decent cabin down below for the kids to crash and plenty of deck space.
CAP CAMARAT 9.0 WALK AROUND
The new 2018 Cap Camarat 9.0 WA builds on the 8.5 WA sister ship that’s been a global success.
The on-trend twin- or single-outboard model has a deep-vee hull designed by Michael Peters that’s said to be stable and powerful, with excellent seakeeping and secure handling for day cruising and family weekend away.
Cockpit features include a helm station with seating for two, a portside galley with fridge, wraparound lounge with a table, and enlarged swim platforms. Up front is a large forward sunpad.
The interior is a surprise package with a large double transverse berth back aft and a dinette that also converts into a double berth.
With a head compartment with separate shower, plus a breakfast nook and long hull windows, the Cap Camarat 9.0 Walk Around can cater for family weekends.
The power options include twin 250hp outboards up to a single 350hp V8 outboard.

CAP CAMARAT 7.5 BOW RIDER
Driven by the European market, the new Cap Camarat Bow Rider
Series expands Jeanneau’s line-up with a bigger dayboat featuring contemporary lines, a spacious deck design, and plenty of inherent safety for
the family.
The new Cap Camarat 7.5 BR joins the existing Cap
Camarat 6.5 BR and 5.5 BR. The sporty new model adopts the hull of the
Cap Camarat 7.5 from Sarrazin Design. In this bowrider guise, it can be optioned further for towsports
and fishing duties.
But Jeanneau says the new flagship bowrider's big attractiojn is the spaciousness and comfort ideal for families,
with as much deck area forward as aft to cater for parents and their
tribe.
A wide central companionway has been designed for easy thoroughfare,
while the cockpit includes a starboard-side helm console and an exterior
galley. To port, the co-pilot console has access to a head compartment.
Extended twin aft platforms provide somewhere to kick back at
the water’s edge, while the option of a cockpit table creates a lunch
setting forward or aft. Storage compartments are said to be plentiful
for all your gear.
Jeanneau says with a wakeboard tower and
dedicated equipment for fishing, its new bowrider offers plenty of
versatility in keeping with her design concept. With a maximum 300hp
outboard, it’s going to be no slouch either.

NC 33
Designed for single-level living, the NC33 is the new state-of-the-art NC model with a single-level deck that flows throughout and a performance hull by Michael Peters.
Everything has been carefully considered for comfortable, harmonious cruising, the French boatbuilder says, from the wide, recessed side-decks to the side door into the helm station, from the new side access gate to the modular aft cockpit with a convertible sunpad and aft swim platform.
Priority has been given to storage, maximising natural light in the interior, and to creating living areas that open to the sea, Jeanneau says, adding that panoramic windows and a large opening sunroof add to the sense of space in the single-level saloon.
With a reversible co-pilot bench seat, the saloon transforms into a relaxed interior lounging area. Below decks, the guest cabin is said to be a similar size to the owner’s cabin. The large head compartment includes a separate shower.
Power comes in the form of twin 220hp Volvo Penta D3 diesel sterndrives. The new NC33 will be launched in Australia in 2018 and should work well as a family weekender, dealer Matt Willlett said.
