The launch of Stabicraft’s new 1410 range is set to meet market demand for safe, strong and dependable small boating.
Seen for the first time at the Melbourne Boat Show, the range includes three models, a traditional family cuddy cabin, the 1410 Fisher, the fishing dedicated 1410 Frontier and the basic but robust, tiller steered 1410 Explorer.
The Explorer can be powered by as little as 20hp tiller outboards while the Fisher and Frontier models perform well with 30-40hp outboards.
All three boats share the same 4.3m hull, the same marine-grade alloy construction and positive buoyancy. Encircling the hull is 687 litres of sealed air giving positive, level flotation should the worst happen.
The Frontier suits adventurous types with enough room for four anglers to fish and plenty of space to work catches. The Fisher is a capable first boat, perfect for a small family, Stabicraft says it is light and easy to handle and the Explorer provides a confident in-shore and estuary fishing platform.
The release of the 1410 range follows on from the Australian launch of the 1850 Supercab also at the Melbourne Boat Show.
"Since launch we have over 15 orders through all markets and it is on track to exceed expectations for 2012 sales," says Tim van Duyl, Stabicraft Marine’s Marketing Co-ordinator.
The 1410 is in the same mould, Stabicraft has listened to the market and moved to create a range of boats built on the same hull to suit different uses.
"The strongest single factor the 1410 range shares is safety, all three models are built using our exacting standards, the best marine alloys available and built to last generations.”
"We pioneered our style of boats back in 1987 (25th anniversary this year) and have been the benchmark ever since. Many imitators have come, some have fallen, one thing that is certain is that we will keep innovating and manufacturing the best boats we can."
