The success of the Yachting NSW and Nautilus Marine co-branded insurance scheme has proved so successful it has been expanded to embrace Yachting SA.
The YSA/Nautilus scheme will provide a special insurance package for sailors with a wide range of benefits for both sailing clubs and individual members throughout the state.
Yachting SA executive officer Terry Reilly says all the feedback from the joint venture between Yachting NSW and Nautilus Marine had been exceptionally positive, so YSA had decided to join the program.
The YSA branded insurance product will give members the best opportunity to access market-leading insurance through the negotiated rate and coverage between YSA and Nautilus Marine. With every premium paid, funds will flow to YSA -- which will then be equally shared with the policy holder's sailing club.
"This product will direct vital funds to participating sailing clubs who, in turn, will be able to purchase equipment, run more sailing programs and generally have more funds at their disposal," Reilly says.
The YSA policy features and benefits incude $10 million Public Liability, $50,000 personal accident cover automatic racing cover and Australia-wide cover on water and transit.
Nautilus Marine Insurance Agency is a wholly Australian owned insurance agency whose senior executives have over 125 years of marine insurance expertise between them.
